Pre-Paid Return Envelopes

email icon

Do you get those letters from finance companies saying you have been pre-approved for a loan or a credit card?

Often they have pre-paid return envelopes.

Now that’s an opportunity too good to miss.

Send it back to them complete with whatever other sales letters you got that day (don’t leave your address on anything though) or send them back folded sheets of newspaper or any rubbish to hand.

Or you can be creative – fill the envelope with confetti or shredded sales leaflets.

They pay the postage whatever the contents. It’s their envelope – you’re just returning it to them.

If we all return the envelopes then perhaps they’ll stop sending out the stupid letters that we don’t want.

Still getting calls from the same stupid PPI chasers. Pathetic. Unfortunately they use a computer to dial and play their message so they can keep on dialling the entire population repeatedly.

A Chinese company HungFung International want us to sell their nit removal combs. But it’s all fake – the supposed email address etc. are all just links to websites they get paid for promoting.

A supposed message from someone on LinkedIn. It’s fake. They copied the format of a real LinkedIn message request just to get us to click on some website that no doubt contains a scam.

Funding Circle offering us a business loan. We’re a volunteer organisation. No loans thank you.

An email proclaiming that Kids Stay Free at the Moon Palace Hotel in Cancun. May be a copy of a real advert for the hotel but sent from a spammer to get us to click on websites they want us to visit.

These people just waste our time and clog up the Internet with rubbish.

A Chinese company want to sell us wax castings for making steel – apparently because they know that we buy these products from their competitors. Completely ridiculous

A website “Icelotto” offering to sell us Euro millions lottery tickets. But we can already buy them on the National Lottery website – so why would anyone pay money to an unknown third party? Crazy.

An American company wanting us to be a distributor for their slip resistant floor product. But their mailbox is a free one which means they don’t work for a business – it’s just a scammer.

Mrs Owen Morales has named us the sole beneficiary of the estate of Mr Owen Harry Morales and its valued at $21 Million. Yeah right. Completely Legit !

These people just waste our time and clog up the Internet with rubbish.

A company wants to sell us advice on picking the right employee attendance system. We’re a volunteer organisation – we have no employees.

Another company trying to sell us an outsourced payroll system. Volunteer organisation – no employees.

A company called Bulker Mania wanting to do our Marketing emails for us and send them out. Only $999 to send 10 million emails. That’s $99 per million emails. Unbelievable.  Quite dreadful.

A market research company sending us reports about on demand video in Europe – WHY?

A Chinese intellectual property bureau who want to talk with us about property investments because we have a person with a similar surname to someone they worked with in the past at a different organisation. Can you believe they say they choose business partners on the grounds of similarity of surname?

These people just waste our time and clog up the Internet with rubbish.

You could be the winner of $1290. Most chances are that you have won. Yeah Right.

Thunderbolts Limited sent in an invoice in EXCEL format. They really think I’m going to open that invoice and no doubt find my PC infected by a virus?

BTROS Administration sent in a purchase order. I’m not going to open that. Straight to delete.

A company called iiyamadirect.com want to quote us for solar panels on the roof. We don’t own the building – don’t even have access to the roof. And in Britain no one makes money from solar power except these unscrupulous companies selling the panels.

An American company trying to sell us US government Federal loans. They’re even too stupid to see that our domain name puts us in Britain not America.

These people just waste our time and clog up the Internet with rubbish.
