So, what rubbish emails and calls have there been to Brooklands Radio station in the last few days?
The email says “Claim your gift card online or any one of our shops”. It apparently offers a free Argos gift voucher and to get it, you just have to respond with whether Argos began in 1972 or 1792. It’s just a scam of course as it’s not from Argos but from empressamentors.com
This email promises me a Dyson Supersonic hairdryer if I just test one and write a short review of it. Nope – an obvious scam. Dyson products sell like crazy and the quality is excellent – they don’t need to give away £300 hairdryers.
Mr. Sun Longde who is Vice-President of PetroChina wants to make a business investment with me Shame that someone so important can only afford a free yahoo email address and he doesn’t even know my name but wants to invest with me. Very believable. NOT.
The U.S. government has $2,000,000 for me as compensation due to lost business via Internet. Nope. The scammers just want to know my phone number, address etc. and of course my name as they don’t even know that.
Warning! Apparently there are 3 foods you must NEVER eat. They may be toxic to your body and could even be killing you. Worse. They are being marketed as Super-Foods by the Big Food corporations. This scammer obviously has a flair for the dramatic. Too much fat and carbohydrate may kill you in the long-term but the products in the average American home refrigerator probably won’t.
