So, what rubbish emails and calls have there been to Brooklands Radio station in the last few days?
Daniel Mayuku wants to involve me in a mutually beneficial business arrangement to the tune of $15 million. Nice thought but it’s just a typical Nigerian 419 scam
Some rubbish emails about how to make a home in a shipping container. No thank you.
OMG! My water source may be infected so I’m not safe and must immediately buy packs of filtration straws. A moron trying to frighten people into buying things they don’t need. The straws are real but are designed for someone outdoors without fresh water and needing to drink from a suspect water source.
Yet more emails supposedly from Marie Holmes who won $188 million on the Powerball lottery and is determined to give me $1 million of it. Nope – just another 419 scam. The return email address even spells her name wrongly.
I’m due a TV licence refund and just need to supply my details to get it. Would be more believable if the email address was real rather than one made-up by the scammers, if anyone had a TV licence at that address and if they had some idea who they were sending emails to.
