A Time-Wasters Update

So, what rubbish emails and calls have there been to Brooklands Radio station in the last few days?

An email supposedly from Apple telling me that a new rescue email has been added to my account and I should verify this. The email is from onlne.shop – doesn’t sound like Apple to me so I won’t be verifying anything.

An email claiming to have a remedy for Herpes – explained as stopping the ‘evil’ protein that cloaks Herpes. A bit too much imagination going on there. No thanks.

An email advert for Saga health insurance and it looks highly professional but the sender is koreandramaseries.com’. I have no idea what a Korean drama series has to do with Saga insurance but I won’t be buying insurance from them.

A message promising a tip that will completely eliminate cellulite and I will be told as long as I watch a video clip. No thanks. Keep your video clip.

A company called UK Marketing Expert wants to give me finance for any reason for my company. A marketing company – I don’t think so.

An Update on Those Time-Wasters

So, what rubbish emails and calls have there been to Brooklands Radio station in the last few days?

XL Business Finance want to offer us a loan, hire purchase, asset finance and more. Shame they are too lazy and stupid to check what kind of company we are – a volunteer organisation.

The Mayo Clinic diet release their famous recipe containing super-fruits that kill obesity. Much more likely to kill your bank account and have no effect on your weight.

A lady named Nannie wants me to work from home for her with pay up to $5,600 per month.

Statistics show that 59 out of every 60 such adverts are scams.

An email from planeassyi.bid want to sell me a shingle roof. The radio station is in a building owned by the council so no thanks.

Ted Wood Working are offering 16,000 wood working plans on special offer. I expect they’d need to pay people to take the plans.

Those Terrible Time-Wasters

So, what rubbish emails and calls have there been to Brooklands Radio station in the last few days?

A final award notification notice telling me that I’ve won $4.75 million in the Bono Lotto – I must be very lucky – winning a lottery I didn’t even enter. I’ll tell them to donate the money to charity.

A video to watch that warns how my family could end up in a FEMA concentration camp. This is part of a very strange conspiracy theory to do with America’s Federal Emergency Management Agency. Very weird.

An offer to let me join the Millionaire beta testers of the Dubai Lifestyle APP. The APP apparently lets me rake in ‘insane’ profits with just a few mouse clicks – I don’t think so – only the scammers make money.

Apparently I’ve subscribed to a newsletter but it appears to have no name and I need to click on my profile to set preferences. My preference would be for an end to scammers like these ones.

Asda @Asdawinner.com wants me to redeem my £500 Asda gift card. I don’t think so, as it doesn’t exist.

Those Useless Time-Wasters

So, what rubbish emails and calls have there been to Brooklands Radio station in the last few days?

An email from poloshirt8.top supposedly selling off Ralph Lauren clothing for peanuts. Just rubbish trying to get people to click on links they wouldn’t otherwise go near.

A list of pharmaceuticals for sale. No chance. Anyone buying medicines from an unapproved supplier is risking their life.

Someone from cleanereatingplan.net selling garage doors. Cleaner eating and garage doors don’t seem likely bed fellows.

A sample newsletter about the Internet. Could be interesting but first item predicts the rise of Smart dog collars. No thanks.

An email from morrisonsservice.com offering me a £650 voucher for Morrisons shopping. I just have to click a link to get it. Morrisons supermarkets do not give away £650 vouchers.

Endless Time-Wasters

So, what rubbish emails and calls have there been to Brooklands Radio station in the last few days?

An email telling us that our email inbox has exceeded its quota. Then it says we’ve almost reached the limit and must upgrade or we will not “receive emails frequently”. The email is from imagesihd.com which is not my email provider.

“Keep an eye on …”

“Protect your … with a new CTV system”

This is a strange email claiming to be from a CCTV supplier but it’s actually from a Marketing company looking for leads. No thanks.

Sagar Pandit sent an email claiming “I was examining your website and not able to find your website on Top pages on Google”. He obviously wasn’t examining it very well if he couldn’t find it. What you find on Google ‘Top’ pages depends on what search words you enter. He also claims to be the best in my area. Unlikely as his address suggests he’s in India.

Simon of Radiozing wants to sell me a 50 foot mast for £250. We’re an Internet radio station – no mast.

The US Department of The Treasury Committee on Foreign Payment Resolution Panel on Withheld Payments – Hang on I’ m tired out just reading the title. They want a scanned copy of my ID or driver’s licence and other information so they can pay me $19.5 million. Isn’t that just nice of them. Shame that their email address is nouvellesetincelles.fr so I don’t quite believe it.

Terrible Time-Wasters

So, what rubbish emails and calls have there been to Brooklands Radio station in the last few days?

“How to shrink your belly fast using fruits” – Apparently it’s so good you can remove all unwanted fat within 1 week. Anyone who replies to this rubbish must have fat in their head.

Barriers Direct want to sell us Tensator Wall Mounted Retractable Belt Barriers – whatever they are, we certainly don’t need any.

Apartments in Liverpool for sale. The email is from @service-lead-data-link. This is genuine but if interested I’d go straight to the sellers not via a Marketing company looking for leads to sell.

A supposed Blockchain Investment Fund want me to send them bitcoins (it’s a type of online currency) and in return will send me three times as much in 5 days time. How dumb would someone have to be to think they simply send money to an anonymous location and expect something back. Bye bye money.

An email tells me that my order has been scheduled and I can check its progress by clicking the link provided. The link is to billpesa.com whatever that is. Of course there is no order.
