So, what rubbish emails and calls have there been to Brooklands Radio station in the last few days?
An email telling me “Upgrading Mailbox Quoat in Progress Verify Password”. My account is being upgraded free of charge apparently. Love the misspelling, but it’s obviously a scam so I won’t click to verify my password. Thank you.
“CNN proclaim the end of Alzheimer’s disease”. “Harvard doctors cure 97 year old of Alzheimer’s”. These scammers must assume everyone has memory problems and is as dumb as they are to fall for this rubbish.
OMG Its 70% off everything at Pandora Jewelry. Yup I must buy immediately despite the American spelling of the word “Jewellery” and the sender’s email address being doyddp875 @mail8.jtlsj.cc
There’s always lots of job offer scams on email and this latest one is typically ridiculous. ”Get Paid for Talking (totally legit). Sounds absurd doesn’t it but not for Kevin – he gets paid $110 for 5 minutes work”. Famous actors making voice-overs can get very well paid but otherwise – no chance. It’s just a scam.
An email from eatstopeat @saronie.us titled ‘Eat Now’ and as you would expect from “eat stop eat” is about weight loss made simple to the point of no effort involved. Just another dull scam.
