“The New Lotto Guru is Making More Winners Than You’ve Ever Seen in Your Life”. That’s the opening gambit of this scam. Most people have enough sense to realise there is no way to guarantee a win at Lotto – it’s purely random and the only way to increase your chances of winning is to buy more tickets. Anyone claiming to have a method of guaranteed winning is obviously a liar. But some scammers persist with these ridiculous messages so someone must reply to them. The message even contains the phrase “Insert current powerball jackpot here” but the scammer is too stupid to realise she was meant to replace the phrase with the actual number.
Apparently I am one of the lucky few patriots to receive this message. The message is clearly intended for Americans so why has it been sent to a “.co.uk” address? Stupid scammer. It’s about a brilliant engineer who has invented a device that creates green energy and is ten times more powerful than a solar panel. “More powerful than” is a phrase that makes no sense in this context. The whole thing is just fantasy of course.
Yet another weight loss scam. This one tells a story about an overweight sales manager with type-2 diabetes. He has managed to lose 103 pounds in just 12 weeks by eating a delicious and little known hormone resetting food (only 3 bites per day needed). And now this scammer wants you to watch a video that will prove it. All lies of course. There is no magic way to lose weight – eat fewer calories and get more exercise – how difficult is that to understand?
James Brandy sent me an email claiming to be a financial consultant at A&G Finance Ltd and he wants to propose a joint venture business deal with me. If he is a financial consultant then why is he using the email address panoramahomecentre.com? and addressed me as ‘recipients’. No thank you – you’re a lying cheating criminal.
“Full Guaranteed Ranking”. This is a standard search engine optimisation (SEO) offering by email as received from millions of other losers doing the same thing i.e. sending out huge volumes of spam messages about SEO. As always, the idiot offers a free report on my website etc. but has not taken the trouble to see whether I have a web site and if I do then which industry niche I work in. There are endless genuine offers on SEO from people trying to make a living at this, but the vast majority of the messages are from idiots and certainly all such messages should be deleted. If you actually do want SEO services then find a local reputable company or freelancer to provide the service you want.
