So, what rubbish emails and calls have there been to Brooklands Radio station in the last few days?
An email claiming I have won an Amazon reward if I just answer some questions. Yup – questions about my name, date of birth etc. – all useful for identity theft. And the email is from bowkru.date which should be a dating agency with that suffix but clearly is not.
A strange email with no title and a link to question.sunbedwhitening.co.uk Don’t know if that’s a real company but they must be real stupid sending out such emails if they are real. More likely it’s just a scammer.
Someone looking for a job has sent in a CV for us to review and they supply a password to open the file. Scammers add password protection to stop malware scanners from opening the file to check if it dangerous. Plus, the emailer clearly has no idea who we are or what business we are in so very obviously a fake.
A message from “Skinny Bunny Teatox” claims to have a belly flattening iced tea that melted away 41 lbs of fat from one lucky woman. Nope – just a scammer trying to relieve people of their money.
Mohan Singh in New Delhi offers corporate identity branding, SEO, website design, APP development and lots more. He works with 110 experience IT professionals to provide these services. Nope – he has a Hotmail email account therefore he’s a solitary worker lying to try to gain credibility, plus he offers too many services which suggests he is useless at most or all of them. No thanks.
