So, what rubbish emails and calls have there been to Brooklands Radio station in the last few days?
An email story about Lottery winners who are frightened because they don’t want the government to make the lottery illegal to stop them winning. Wow – this one needs an amazing level of suspension of disbelief not to laugh at how pathetic it is. Don’t think I’ll be buying their ‘totally legal’ means of winning any lottery.
Apparently Omega 7 is a type of fat that when added to animal cells in a petri dish makes the fat come out of the fat cells. And that rubbish is supposed to entice me to pay for the scammers amazing product. No thanks.
“Am I fed up with fake dating sites?”, asks the email. Girls will battle for my heart when I try this new site. Surprise, surprise – it’s another fake dating site.
Congratulations to me as I’ve been selected among the winners of the Mercedes-Benz International Online Lottery Draw and I’ve won a new Mecedes-Benz c300 and $3 million to go with it. Wowee. I must celebrate. But first I just have to pay a delivery charge and supply a lot of personal information to the sender who surprisingly doesn’t even know my name and of course I didn’t enter such a lottery and I don’t drive a Mercedes. This scammer wants both the money and my details to sell.
Yet another case of ‘Best Ever Product on Sharktank’. This one doubles your IQ in seconds. I hope all recipients of these emails have a sufficiently high IQ to recognise the pathetic scam for what it is.
