Major Dennis Hornbeck emails to tell me about his situation. He says “I am in the military unit here in Afghanistan, we have some amount of funds that we want to move out of the country. My partners and I need a good partner someone we can trust. It is risk free and legal. Reply to this email”. Of course it’s completely risk free and legal – that’s why he’s sending out millions of messages to random unknown people asking for help. The Major is just a figment of a scammer’s mind – intent on stealing from you.

This scammer wants to bring science into her scam email by claiming that ‘quantum particles’ dictate the outcome of our decisions and we just have to use her technique to flip the quantum particles from destructive to success-getting. No. We make decisions and the effects of those decisions determine our future.

Lots of emails to multiple made up email addresses turned up over the last few days at the radio station. But each had a very similar message e.g. “I really wanted to say I am a beginner to blog and really savoured you’re website.” Badly spelled and reading as if either translated from another language or put together by a computer programme from a set of stock phrases. Just scammers trying to get a response which then tells them which email addresses have an actual person receiving them.

“This person deserves the Medal of Honor”. “This crazy nurse has discovered one of the biggest secrets of the mankind and preferred to share it instead of getting millions of dollars”. This fantasy rubbish is supposedly about free energy. There are so many scam messages that use this same template (secrets, crazy everyday person, warning over Big *** trying to stop it etc.) that it’s surprising anyone could possibly believe it anymore, but presumably some do or the scammers would invent a new template to use.

And now an instant cure for fungal infections that completely regenerates your skin and nails. Also costs very little and has been proved by over 35,000 people so far. There are plenty of home remedies and prescribed medicine for fungal infections of the skin and nails but they all take a long time to work as nails grow somewhat slowly. So, an instant fix is obviously just lies.
