Is there such an organisation as The International Council for Truth in Medicine?

NO.

There is a blog and Twitter account in the name of The International Council for Truth in Medicine and there is a Facebook account promoting scam products that are mostly to do with curing diabetes.

The scammers home in on the American belief that ‘Big Pharma’ are making people sick so as to make more money and that there are cures for various diseases that are being kept hidden from the people.

This is just dumb conspiracy theory.

The scammers claim to have a cure for diabetes and that it has been kept secret.

Diabetes type I is a genetic disease and there is currently no cure and certainly there is no magic remedy.

Diabetes type II is partially genetic but mostly caused by an unhealthy lifestyle and the remedy is to lose weight and get more exercise. Nothing secret about that. Many thousands of people have cured themselves of diabetes type II by this means.

It is unusual for scammers to create a fake organisation with social media accounts but fake diabetes cures are obviously a goldmine for scammers.
