Jonathon Darwin has a Yandex email account which is always dodgy as Yandex is a Russian Internet Service Provider with a reputation for attracting scammers.
He wants me to help distribute a safety product for a 27 year old American company.
The product turns out to be slip resistant floor treatments.
Why the strange emails?
- Clearly it’s not all above board as no-one in their right mind would send out such emails to random people on spam lists if their approach was genuine
- If you wanted distributors for such a product, you would approach businesses already distributing similar products.
- Any genuine business person would not use a Yandex email account
Is he simply trying to see which email addresses he bought on a spam list are actually genuine?
Or maybe trying to tempt idiots into replying then he can sell their details to other scammers?
Or maybe he’s just a terrible scammer and hasn’t figured out that such a nonsensical approach wont get many responses.
Whatever the reason for the emails – don’t ever reply.
