Another fake Amazon scam email – this one claims that my order has shipped (#122-27019713-026093864613). The total including shipping is $767.99 and I just have to click the button to see details of the order. Amazon emails always specify the purchase not just a total and the link is to duckgodns-check/… which is obviously not Amazon. Just a pathetic phishing scam email after my email and login details.
Huge volumes of fake Yahoo emails get sent out each day and this latest one follows the usual pattern – a reminder or warning of some kind to push the recipient to login to their Yahoo account by clicking the link and that will give the scammers your login and password which they can use for a range of nasty illegal purposes. The message says “Warning – Since you have refused to upgrade your account to the newest version. We will stop processing incoming emails.” The email is from @scchanplumbingmerchants.com which is obviously not Yahoo.
Latest HSBC scam emails tell you that you have not yet activated the new HSBC secure key to control your online activity. There is an explanation about how it works then a link to click to activate the key. This is just a phishing scam after your login and password. Never respond to such emails – if in doubt call your bank but don’t click links in emails.
Yet another magical fat burning trick appears in the scammer’s emails. This one claims that a newly discovered 10 second coffee trick turns your drink into a fat burning miracle. A simple ridiculous scam message.
An email titled “Re: Re: Re: Re: /EQR/)(*&)( / URGENT” sent from eais.uk claims to be from a David Adamson and is an order for something unknown that is exempt of EIS fees and has USD 200/HC. Seems to be random rubbish from a scammer trying to be convincing but totally failing. The second half of the email message seems to be from a different scam email involving different names. Lazy scammer couldn’t be bothered clearing her email message properly.
