An email claims we have a WeTransfer file ready for download. The sender says ‘Kindly download the WeTransfer file to view the samples of the product we want to purchase. Thank you.’ However, it is not from WeTransfer but from wetraansfer.com – that one extra letter makes the difference between the real company and the evil criminals trying to steal from you.
Supposedly, scientists from Harvard and Johns Hopkins Universities have proved that all diabetics make a simple mistake every single night and is the cause of diabetes type II. Now this secret can be told. This is usual rubbish from the fantasies of a scammer. Diabetes type II is largely due to lifestyle – obesity, poor diet, lack of exercise. And the scammers magic answer to reverse diabetes is non existent. Don’t ever believe such ridiculous emails from unknown people.
An email from akinferma.akinruntan tells me he or she is contacting me about a humanitarian charity project and wants me to reply. Not other information so it’s obviously a fake message just looking to find out which of the spam email address they bought are active and which have recipients gullible enough to reply to such a message. No thanks
Aaron Maggogi’s email says that he has decided to send me $4000 per daily by Moneygram until the entire sum of $10 million has been transferred to me. The first $4000 has already been sent to me and I have to contact a Jeff Edward to get the reference number so I can collect it. Also I will need to provide him with my name, address, country, phone numbers, occupation, ID number etc. The sender doesn’t even know my name and makes no attempt to explain why he wants to send me lots of money. This is as obvious a scam as there can be – does anyone respond to this kind of rubbish? I hope not.
Mrs Inga-Britt Anrhenius wants to know if I authorised a cousin named Mr Garcia Roberto from Ohio to collect the $1.5 million owing to me. If not the case then I need to contact him to verify myself. Just a standard scam trying to get my personal and financial information. There is no money of course except that which the criminal steals from people who reply to these strange emails.
