We received three emails within a few hours about miracle cures for health problems.
These are from different names, different email addresses and about different problems but they are clearly the work of the same scam team. Also, they are well written unlike most scam messages.
Email 1 is “Diabetes Real Root cause exposed Cure Found” from Cynthia (actually oversufficient@ fpsxb.us)
Email 2 is “CNN Health Betty White Explains How She prevents Alzheimers” from Jerry Washington (actually acquainted@ fqixd.us)
Email 3 is “How This Weird Bacteria Causes Weight Gain” from Ernest Smith (actually retransmitted@ fqnnx.us)
Each has a link to a video that you MUST WATCH but the links are ridiculously long and meaningless and presumably go to a random video or to a download of malware to infect your computer.
The last part of each email is a block of random words designed to fool spam catchers at the email providers.
These emails show how organised the scammers are in building these campaigns but also that they stick to tried and tested scams.
As always, the rule is that something looks too good to be true then it’s a scam.
Don’t fall for any of the tricks.
If you have any experiences with scammers, spammers or time-waster do let me know, by email.
