The email appears to be from The Administrator or IT Support or something similar.
The subject is Your Mailbox is over limit or Your Mailbox is almost full or something like that.
Probably there is some kind of graphic showing your mailbox is full or nearly full.
Also probably some figures showing how much email you have stored and what the maximum is. Then comes the link they want you to click on. It might say ‘Click now for free upgrade’ or Click for options to increase your mailbox size or something like that.
It’ll say whatever they think can make you click that link. DO NOT click the link – this is a scam.
How can you be sure this isn’t a real email from your email provider?
Easy! Ignore the email – login to your email provider and check the situation – do you need to upgrade a mailbox or not. Probably not.
Never click on the links in these emails.
