You receive notification that you have won a prize – fantastic.

The claim form below looks authentic and says the prize is $3,500 – very nice.

BUT, it’s just a scam designed to get you to fill in your details – name, address, email etc.

It’s really not easy to actually get that money. If you click the CLAIM NOW button then it takes you to a website where you have to take out a subscription to FreeLotto (supposedly in order to get the prize).

Once you’re signed up – then people have reported that FreeLotto take as much as they want from your account and it’s very difficult to get the money back.  Even after this you still don’t get the prize for various reasons including the truth that the Certified Winners Claim Form is just a promotion – there are no prizes.
