This is a simple scam email – the sender is looking for businesses dumb enough to reply to his message – but the entire message screams SCAM in many ways, including:-
- He doesn’t know who he’s sending the message to – just a list of email addresses he purchased
- His ‘From Address’ misspells the word ‘suppliers’
- His return address is different from the sender address
- The reply address is a personal email address not a business one
- biz is a fake domain name
- The grammar is poor, Ltd is an abbreviation used in the United Kingdom and some commonwealth countries – not in Brazil
- He has no idea what products or services we sell
- He has not specified what products or services he is interested in
- The company name is fake
And so on.
It’s just pathetic.
If you have any experiences with phishing scams do let me know, by email.
