“We have worked with a lot of great brands over the past years”.
“They have praised our work as exceptional”
“They have great increases in conversion rates and sales following our work”
“I have great ideas on how to convert your visitors into customer”.
Do you have any idea yet on what the email is trying to sell?
The sender offers a portfolio of work – but work on what? That’s not obvious.
The email is signed off as Tom Segolo but no job title or company name or any other company details so that’s a secret.
The email is started ‘Hi,’ so the sender has no idea of my name or job or company.
Most telling of all is that the email is from [email protected].
Most scammers try to cover their ridiculous sender’s email address, but this one appears too stupid to realise that invalid.invalid guarantees it’s a scam message.
