The email is an advert for a revolutionary new drone I.e. flying device with rotors.
“Easily capture mind blowing selfies and videos with this revolutionary drone…”
What distinguishes this from all other drones is “New super foldable drone can provide you with stunning footage at just a fraction of the usual cost and size of any other drone. It’s time to take down those greedy manufacturers”.
Lots of people sell drones from an assortment of manufacturers but what sets this email out from the others as a scam is:-
- The email is from diabetesawyer.bid which is obviously intended to be about diabetes and .bid means an auction site. That makes no sense. It is much more likely to be from a scammer and the lazy scammer is just reusing the email address
- There is nothing revolutionary about the drone as described
- Drones are used in some cases for selfies but very few are bought for that purpose
- The phrase “It’s time to take-down those greedy manufacturers” is a typical scammer line and makes no sense as someone has to manufacture these so called revolutionary drones
- There is no company name and no price and no warning about responsible use of drones
