So, what rubbish emails and calls have there been to Brooklands Radio station in the last few days?
An email we get regularly, offering fuel discount cards. It’s a legitimate offer but we don’t have any vehicles and we have told them.
An invitation to bid in an auction in Italy for 19th century engravings. WHAT ???
The usual invoice scam email asking us to open an attached file – but it is a compressed file and hence likely to contain a virus and the supposed company is in Bulgaria.
A spam message from a wanna be celebrity named Jesse McClure offering to turn on Christmas lights, Christmas parties, TV commercials, grand openings etc. No idea who he is, but he certainly doesn’t lack ego.
An email supposedly from APPLE asking us to update our customer information and it has a fake email address firstname.lastname@example.org, but the confirm button links to a website (tmh.main.jp) nothing to do with Apple. No thanks. Keep your scam.
These people just waste our time and clog up the Internet with rubbish.
